Ambassador Xing Haiming Meets with State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports of Mongolia Bayar Saihan

  On August 14, Ambassador Xing Haiming met with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Mongolia Bayar Saihan, and the two sides exchanged views on cultural exchanges and educational cooperation between the two countries.

  Bayar Saihan said that President Xi Jinping's successful visit to Mongolia in 2014 promoted Mongolia-China relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership, and the cultural exchanges between the two countries have also reached a new level. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and China. The Mongolian Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports is willing to work with the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia and relevant departments to continue to promote exchanges and cooperation in the fields of culture and education between the two countries and contribute to the development of bilateral relations.

  Ambassador Xing said that China and Mongolia are friendly neighbors connected by mountains and rivers. In recent years, the cultural exchanges between the two countries have developed vigorously, drawing closer the friendly feelings of the two peoples. This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia. The two sides have held a series of celebrations. The cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries have ushered in a new prosperity. The Chinese Embassy is willing to work with the relevant departments to vigorously develop exchanges and cooperation in the fields of education, culture, science and technology and sports, and lay a solid public opinion foundation for the development of bilateral relations.
