Ambassador Xing Haiming Meets with Chairman of Economic Committee of Mongolian National Khural

  On October 29, Ambassador Xing Haiming met with Chairman of Economic Committee of Mongolian National Khural and exchanged opinions on China-Mongolia relations and bilateral cooperation.

  Ambassador Xing said, 2018 is a big year for the development of China-Mongolia relations. Both of Mongolian President and Prime Minister have paid a visit to China and met with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang. The leaders of two countries have reached a series of important consensus, which chart the future for the development of bilateral relations. State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi has just paid a successful visit to Mongolia with fruitful results. Two sides agree to accelerate the strategic combination of “Belt and Road” initiative and “Road of Development”, which will give golden wings to Mongolia’s development. Two sides declared the start of joint feasibility study of China-Mongolia Free Trade Area and decided to accelerate the construction of China-Mongolia Cross Border Economic Zone. Next year is the 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mongolia. China is willing to make joint efforts with Mongolia to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of two countries and enhance bilateral cooperation in the fields of politics, economy and finance, etc.

  Chairman of Economic Committee of Mongolian National Khural said that, Mongolia and China are friendly neighbors. Mongolia attaches great importance to developing comprehensive strategic partnership with China. Mongolia is glad to see the achievements accomplished by bilateral practical cooperation. High level exchanges are frequent this year, which is crucial to bilateral relations. Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s visit is a great success. Economic Committee of Mongolian National Khural highly value enhancing Mongolia-China practical cooperation and will work with Chinese side to support bilateral cooperation.
