Ambassador Xing Haiming Meets with Mongolian Deputy Prime Minister

  On August 20, Ambassador Xing Haiming met with Enkhtüvshin, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia. Two sides exchanged opinions on bilateral relations and cooperation.

  Ambassador Xing said that, China and Mongolia are friendly neighbors with linked mountains and rivers. 2018 is a big year for China-Mongolia relations. Both of Mongolian President and Prime Minister have paid a visit to China and met with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang. The leaders of two countries have reached a series of important consensus, which chart the future for the development of bilateral relations. China is willing to work with Mongolia to implement these important consensus and promote cooperation in various fields, especially the cooperation on joint feasibility study of China-Mongolia Free Trade Area and China-Mongolia Cross Border Economic Zone.

  Enkhtüvshin said that, Mongolia and China are comprehensive strategic parters. Mongolia has been considering China as the priority when it comes to diplomatic policies. Mongolia is willing to make joint efforts with China to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and accelerate the strategic combination of “Belt and Road” initiative and “Road of Development” strategy. Mongolia attaches great importance to Mongolia-China practical cooperation and would like to work with China to promote joint feasibility study of China-Mongolia Free Trade Area and China-Mongolia Cross Border Economic Zone.
