Ambassador Xing Haiming Meets Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia

  On May 2, Ambassador Xing Haiming met Damdin Tsogtbaatar, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia.


  Tsogtbaatar noted that Prime Minister Khürelsükh just paid a successful visit to China and attended BOAO Forum for Asia 2018, making a series of consensus with Chinese leaders. Mongolian side appreciates the development concept of China featuring opening and inclusiveness and hopes to share the developing opportunities and achieve mutual prosperity. Mongolia and China are forever neighbors. Mongolia is willing to promote high-level visits and deepen cooperation in various fields.

  Ambassador Xing said that China and Mongolia are friendly neighbors with linked mountains and rivers. 2018 will be a crucial year for China-Mongolia relations. We believe high-level exchanges will be more frequent. Both sides should be committed to the consensus made by leader of two countries during Prime Minister Khürelsükh's visit. China would like to make joint efforts with Mongolia, on the basis of mutual respect for core interests and major concerns, enhancing the corporation and conversation over international and regional affairs.
