Ambassador Xing Haiming Gives Mongolian Version of Chinese Buddhist Canon to Darkhan-Uul Aimag of Mongolia

  On May 2, Ambassador Xing Haiming, on behalf of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Mongolia, gave the Mongolian version of Chinese Buddhist Canon to Darkhan-Uul aimag.

  

  The governer of Darkhan-Uul aimag expressed gratitude to the embassy of the PRC for bringing about the Mongolian version of Chinese Buddhist Canon to the library of Darkhan-Uul aimag. Mongolian side noted that the embassy of PRC giving Mongolian version of Chinese Buddhist Canon to Darkhan-Uul aimag enables the people of Darkhan-Uul aimag to have the chance of reading such a wonderful Buddhist classic.

  

  Ambassador Xing said that China and Mongolia are good neighbors, friends and partners. In recent years, cultural communication and exchanges have become one of the bright spots of China-Mongolia relations. Ambassador Xing also noted that Tibet is an inherent territory of China and Tibetan Buddhism is a treasure of Chinese culture. So Chinese Buddhist Canon would be the link of the friendship of the peoples of China and Mongolia.

  

  The governor of Darkhan-Uul aimag granted Ambassador Xing tablets of gratitude.

  

  On the afternoon of May 2, the people of Darkhan-Uul aimag held a grand ceremony to welcome Chinese Buddhist Canon.
