Ambassador Xing Haiming Meets Vice Chairman of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

  On May 3, Ambassador Xing Haiming met Ai Lihua, vice chairman of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, who is paying a visit to Mongolia.


  Ai briefed the current situation of exchanges and cooperation in various fields between Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Mongolia. Ai said that as the northward opening path of the “Belt and Road”, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has the advantage of cooperating with Mongolia. Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region attach great importance to the cooperation with Mongolia and will actively implement the consensus reached by the leaders of two states. Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will take part in the joint of “Belt and Road” initiative and “Road of Development” strategy and contribute more to China-Mongolia relations.


  Ambassador Xing noted that Mongolian Prime Minister Khürelsükh just paid a successful visit to China and attended BOAO Forum for Asia 2018. During his visit, the leaders of two countries have reached a series of consensus on exchanges and cooperation in various fields. Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is the northward portal of China and has been playing an active and important role in cooperating with Mongolia. 2018 is a crucial year for China-Mongolia relations. There will be more opportunities for Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to cooperate with Mongolia.

  During the visit, Ai will meet Vice Prime Minister of Mongolia, Director of General Office and Minister of Environment and Tourism.
